Kibworth Park Alpaca stud is located 2 kilometres south of the small township of Lake Boga, just off the Murray Valley Highway. The blue waters of the now revived lake can be seen from the front veranda of our home.
The name Kibworth Park was the English home of Maxine's Grandfather and properties have borne this name in Australia. On moving to Lake Boga in 2004 (career move) we purchased four girls and so our journey began.
The aim of our stud is to breed fine high quality Grey Huacaya Alpacas. We are now starting to see the results of much patience and good breeding, we continue to strive to improve what we have only just commenced.
The achievement and recognition of breeding a multi awarding winning champion animal has given us further incentive in this great industry..
The plan for the future is to have a complete business from producing great animals with a super fine fleece through to producing quality products. Dare I say it working towards a farm change no thought of retiring.
As a breeder it is our ambition to breed alpacas that are recognized at an international level.
